Mr. Prakash Sansare
Managing Director
Prakash is the Managing Director at LabGuard. As a founder of the enterprise, he is one of the cornerstones of the company. He has over 40 years of experience in product design & development. After an active service of two decades in Mazgaon Dock, Prakash started LabGuard to serve the scientific community by providing innovative solutions to their problems. His many achievements include the design of a remotely operated robotic arm for radioactive medicines, India’s first AAS/ICP hood, first ever high-quality metallic fume hood and many more customized and specialized products. He is known as a man of precision and craftsmanship.
Mr. Salil Sansare
Director & CEO
Salil has 25 years of experience in designing fume hoods, complex lab ventilation systems and building labs on a turnkey basis. An industrial engineer from VJTI, he understands the correlation between lab design elements and its effect on user safety, flexibility, and energy efficiency. Building inspiring lab spaces for researchers is his passion. He has been instrumental in LabGuard’s growth since the year 2000. He was, and is, part of various ASHRAE and SEFA standard committees for fume hood and lab furniture standards. He is also a certified fume hood tester as per ASHRAE 110:2016 requirements. He loves reading & exploring new places.
Mrs. Smita Sansare
Director
Smita is the Director of LabGuard and the force behind its seamless processes. She is a teacher by training and holds a BA degree. She is not only a creative person & excellent planner, but also a go-to person for resolving problems. As a human being, she is caring, loving and socially very active.
Mr. Ajay Kanekar
Director- Operations
Ajay is a mechanical engineer by training and holds a Diploma in Industrial Management. He has 25 years of experience in industrial design and development as well as industrial management. He is an expert in lab set-up and is well-versed with international design standards. He was instrumental in developing LabGuard’s lab furniture range. Technology is his passion, and he is forever on the lookout for newer ideas and design innovations.
Mr. Sunil Tejinkar
Vice President - Engineering
Sunil holds a BE in Production Engineering and a Diploma in Business Management. With over 20 years of experience in laboratory furniture solutions and turnkey projects, he excels in conceptualizing, designing, and executing integrated, energy-efficient laboratory spaces. His expertise includes proficiency in airflow product design and selection, focusing on safety and energy conservation within the laboratory domain. His core competencies include project proposal development, design and estimation, team management, and product life cycle management.
As a team player, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality, customer-centric, innovative solutions for laboratory environments.
Mr. Pramod Hande
Vice President - Sales
Pramod Hande holds a degree in Physics and a Master’s in Marketing Management. With over 18 years of experience in sales of high-end scientific instruments, he brings a strong blend of technical insight and strategic business acumen to his leadership role.
His expertise spans a broad spectrum of analytical and laboratory equipment.
A collaborative leader, he excels at aligning go-to-market strategies with customer needs to drive impactful business outcomes. His solution focused mindset and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction have earned him trusted relationships and inspired high-performing teams.
Mr. Ravindra N S
Senior Vice President – Engineering
Ravindra holds a Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering and brings over 30+ years of experience in leading pharmaceutical projects. He has worked with reputed Indian organizations and multinational companies, successfully executing both brownfield and greenfield turnkey projects. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle—from budgeting and conceptualization to execution and handover—while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to world-class standards in Pharma lab setups.
As a team leader, Ravindra has effectively coordinated with senior management, architects, project management consultants (PMC), procurement and finance departments, contractors, and end users. He has overseen every stage of the project, from budget and layout approvals to final completion, consistently delivering within agreed timelines and approved budgets.
Mr. Suren Dixit
Senior Vice President – Business Development (International Markets)
Suren Dixit has an MBA from ITM and a career spanning four decades in leadership roles in various companies in the Life Science industry. He has been a visionary in the evolving landscape of pharmaceutical science, introducing and bringing world class technologies to India, in filtration, laboratory products and equipment. His leadership skills have been useful in creating teams for international companies like Thermo Fisher and IKA Germany. His international experience in product and market development for Laboratory products is extensive.
